Meet Lyle Carver!
Lyle Carver brings over 15 years of prosecutorial experience to the role of Amherst County Commonwealth’s Attorney.
A Liberty University School of Law alum, he began his legal journey as an intern, earning a full-time position as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in 2008.
His extensive portfolio includes successfully prosecuting a wide range of crimes, from DUIs to serious felonies such as sexual assault and murder.
Lyle is also a Major in the Virginia Army National Guard and has served as a Judge Advocate for 13 years, including a deployment as Senior Trial Counsel.
A devoted husband to Melissa and father to four children, Lyle is a fixture in the community, often found coaching youth sports or participating in local events.
